Investing.com – Turkey stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.

The best performers of the session on the were Park Elektrik Uretim Madencilik Sanayi ve Ticaret AS (IS:), which rose 3.83% or 0.080 points to trade at 2.170 at the close. Meanwhile, Polisan Holding AS (IS:) added 3.23% or 0.080 points to end at 2.560 and Dogtas Kelebek Mobilya Sanayi ve Ticaret AS (IS:) was up 3.06% or 0.030 points to 1.010 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Kerevitas Gida Sanayi ve Ticaret AS (IS:), which fell 4.14% or 0.07 points to trade at 1.62 at the close. Gentas Genel Metal Sanayi ve Ticaret AS (IS:) declined 3.73% or 0.060 points to end at 1.550 and Tekfen Holding AS (IS:) was down 3.66% or 0.96 points to 25.30.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Istanbul Stock Exchange by 230 to 105 and 72 ended unchanged.
Gold Futures for August delivery was up 0.08% or 1.05 to $1330.35 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in July rose 0.08% or 0.04 to hit $53.30 a barrel, while the August Brent oil contract fell 0.02% or 0.01 to trade at $62.28 a barrel.
USD/TRY was up 0.74% to 5.8167, while EUR/TRY rose 0.79% to 6.5826.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.03% at 96.738.
