Investing.com – Turkey stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Istanbul, the fell 0.53%.
The best performers of the session on the were Vestel Elektronik Sanayi ve Ticaret AS (IS:), which rose 5.81% or 0.590 points to trade at 10.740 at the close. Meanwhile, Pegasus Hava Tasimaciligi AS (IS:) added 4.80% or 2.950 points to end at 64.450 and Anadolu Cam Sanayi AS (IS:) was up 4.58% or 0.110 points to 2.510 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Ihlas Gayrimenkul Proje Gelistirme ve Ticaret AS (IS:), which fell 13.73% or 0.140 points to trade at 0.880 at the close. Koza Anadolu Metal Madencilik Isletmeleri AS (IS:) declined 12.08% or 1.110 points to end at 8.080 and Ipek Dogal Enerji Kaynaklari Arastirma ve Uretim AS (IS:) was down 11.64% or 0.780 points to 5.920.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Istanbul Stock Exchange by 236 to 130 and 39 ended unchanged.
Shares in Pegasus Hava Tasimaciligi AS (IS:) rose to all time highs; rising 4.80% or 2.950 to 64.450.
Gold Futures for December delivery was down 0.12% or 1.75 to $1513.95 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in October rose 0.18% or 0.10 to hit $56.23 a barrel, while the October Brent oil contract rose 1.23% or 0.74 to trade at $60.77 a barrel.
USD/TRY was down 0.26% to 5.7115, while EUR/TRY fell 0.26% to 6.3391.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.01% at 98.058.
