Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.

The best performers of the session on the were Svenska Handelsbanken AB A (ST:), which rose 3.07% or 2.90 points to trade at 97.40 at the close. Meanwhile, Nordea Bank Abp (ST:) added 2.48% or 1.74 points to end at 72.03 and Swedbank AB ser A (ST:) was up 1.84% or 2.6 points to 146.7 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Hexagon AB ser. B (ST:), which fell 10.92% or 56.5 points to trade at 460.9 at the close. Sandvik AB (ST:) declined 3.97% or 6.80 points to end at 164.50 and AB SKF B (ST:) was down 3.90% or 6.5 points to 161.2.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 380 to 251 and 64 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.23% or 0.13 to $57.47 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 1.53% or 0.97 to hit $64.27 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 1.45% or 20.65 to trade at $1400.25 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.68% to 10.5886, while USD/SEK rose 1.27% to 9.4385.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.60% at 96.912.
