Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.

The best performers of the session on the were Saudi Industrial Export Co (SE:), which rose 9.99% or 7.20 points to trade at 79.30 at the close. Meanwhile, National Industrialization Co (SE:) added 6.58% or 1.10 points to end at 17.82 and The Company for Coop. Insurance (SE:) was up 3.68% or 2.20 points to 62.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Takween Advanced Industries (SE:), which fell 7.66% or 0.74 points to trade at 8.92 at the close. Saudi Public Transport Co. (SE:) declined 2.28% or 0.34 points to end at 14.56 and Saudi Steel Pipe Company (SE:) was down 1.92% or 0.46 points to 23.52.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 105 to 70 and 13 ended unchanged.
Shares in Takween Advanced Industries (SE:) fell to 52-week lows; down 7.66% or 0.74 to 8.92.
Crude oil for April delivery was up 1.78% or 1.01 to $57.88 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 0.91% or 0.61 to hit $67.28 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.78% or 10.10 to trade at $1308.20 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.23% to 4.2420, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7504.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.20% at 96.708.
