Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.

The best performers of the session on the were Al Sorayai Trading&Industrial Group (SE:), which rose 9.94% or 4.05 points to trade at 44.80 at the close. Meanwhile, Saudi Arabian Amiantit Co. (SE:) added 8.01% or 0.56 points to end at 7.55 and Fawaz Abdulaziz AlHokair Company (SE:) was up 6.45% or 1.40 points to 23.10 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Aldrees Petroleum & Transport Svcs (SE:), which fell 2.26% or 1.05 points to trade at 45.35 at the close. Arabia Insurance Cooperative Co (SE:) declined 1.69% or 0.30 points to end at 17.40 and Saudi Company for Hardware (SE:) was down 1.47% or 0.90 points to 60.40.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 158 to 26 and 8 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for October delivery was down 0.33% or 0.18 to $54.92 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 0.76% or 0.45 to hit $58.80 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.30% or 4.65 to trade at $1534.05 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.25% to 4.1119, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7505.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.20% at 99.053.
