Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Sunday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.

The best performers of the session on the were Al Sorayai Trading&Industrial Group (SE:), which rose 10.00% or 0.78 points to trade at 8.58 at the close. Meanwhile, Eastern Province Cement Co. (SE:) added 6.54% or 2.10 points to end at 34.20 and Mobile Telecommunications Company (SE:) was up 5.34% or 0.72 points to 14.20 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Saudi Arabian Mining Company (SE:), which fell 2.61% or 1.30 points to trade at 48.50 at the close. Saudi Electricity Company (SE:) declined 2.34% or 0.48 points to end at 20.02 and Bupa Arabia for Coop. Insurance (SE:) was down 2.33% or 2.40 points to 100.60.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 131 to 53 and 9 ended unchanged.
Shares in Eastern Province Cement Co. (SE:) rose to 52-week highs; rising 6.54% or 2.10 to 34.20. Shares in Mobile Telecommunications Company (SE:) rose to 3-years highs; gaining 5.34% or 0.72 to 14.20.
Crude oil for September delivery was up 0.30% or 0.17 to $56.19 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to hit $63.37 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.28% or 3.90 to trade at $1418.60 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.17% to 4.1731, while USD/SAR rose 0.00% to 3.7504.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.18% at 97.725.
