Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the added 0.77%.
The best performers of the session on the were Harel (TA:), which rose 3.46% or 86 points to trade at 2570 at the close. Meanwhile, Perrigo (TA:) added 2.60% or 450 points to end at 17780 and Alony Hetz Properties and Investments Ltd (TA:) was up 2.59% or 107 points to 4240 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Bazan Oil Refineries Ltd (TA:), which fell 1.90% or 3.4 points to trade at 175.9 at the close. Paz Oil (TA:) declined 1.52% or 820 points to end at 53300 and Israel Corp (TA:) was down 0.92% or 780 points to 83870.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 246 to 139 and 42 ended unchanged.
Shares in Alony Hetz Properties and Investments Ltd (TA:) rose to all time highs; rising 2.59% or 107 to 4240.
Crude oil for May delivery was up 2.06% or 1.24 to $61.38 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 1.97% or 1.33 to hit $68.91 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.34% or 4.45 to trade at $1294.05 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.24% to 3.6235, while EUR/ILS fell 0.28% to 4.0605.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.01% at 96.857.
