Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Sunday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the gained 0.53% to hit a new 1-month high.
The best performers of the session on the were Liveperson (TA:), which rose 3.32% or 273 points to trade at 8500 at the close. Meanwhile, Harel (TA:) added 2.58% or 62 points to end at 2463 and Perrigo (TA:) was up 2.25% or 370 points to 16800 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Airport City Ltd (TA:), which fell 0.99% or 46 points to trade at 4614 at the close. Bazan Oil Refineries Ltd (TA:) declined 0.94% or 1.7 points to end at 178.2 and Amot Investments Ltd (TA:) was down 0.70% or 13 points to 1840.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 218 to 147 and 47 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for March delivery was up 0.75% or 0.40 to $53.53 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to hit $61.59 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 1.77% or 22.60 to trade at $1302.40 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.05% to 3.6624, while EUR/ILS rose 0.08% to 4.1804.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.86% at 95.470.
