Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the added 0.07%.
The best performers of the session on the were Strauss Group (TASE:), which rose 4.46% or 460 points to trade at 10770 at the close. Meanwhile, Leumi (TASE:) added 1.72% or 44 points to end at 2597 and Nice Ltd (TASE:) was up 1.38% or 680 points to 49900 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Melisron (TASE:), which fell 2.13% or 410 points to trade at 18860 at the close. Israel Corp (TASE:) declined 1.97% or 1690 points to end at 84070 and Amot Investments Ltd (TASE:) was down 1.52% or 36 points to 2328.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 190 to 178 and 47 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for August delivery was down 3.35% or 1.98 to $57.11 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 2.81% or 1.83 to hit $63.23 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 1.40% or 19.45 to trade at $1408.75 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.25% to 3.5716, while EUR/ILS fell 0.03% to 4.0396.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.25% at 96.167.
