Investing.com – Germany stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Frankfurt, the added 1.32%, while the index added 1.45%, and the index climbed 1.80%.

The best performers of the session on the were Infineon Technologies AG NA O.N. (DE:), which rose 3.79% or 0.576 points to trade at 15.756 at the close. Meanwhile, Fresenius SE & Co KGAA O.N. (DE:) added 2.86% or 1.210 points to end at 43.465 and Deutsche Bank AG NA O.N. (DE:) was up 2.69% or 0.166 points to 6.326 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Vonovia SE (DE:), which fell 0.49% or 0.22 points to trade at 44.58 at the close. RWE AG ST O.N. (DE:) declined 0.08% or 0.020 points to end at 25.550 and Beiersdorf AG O.N. (DE:) was up 0.45% or 0.500 points to 110.500.

The top performers on the MDAX were Leoni AG (DE:) which rose 6.29% to 9.026, K+S AG NA O.N. (DE:) which was up 4.74% to settle at 14.255 and Dialog Semiconductor (DE:) which gained 4.69% to close at 42.430.

The worst performers were Osram Licht AG (DE:) which was down 1.28% to 34.65 in late trade, Deutsche Wohnen AG (DE:) which lost 0.52% to settle at 30.790 and Software AG (DE:) which was down 0.41% to 24.300 at the close.

The top performers on the TecDAX were Medigene NA O.N. (DE:) which rose 11.50% to 6.300, Dialog Semiconductor (DE:) which was up 5.23% to settle at 42.6500 and Draegerwerk VZO O.N. (DE:) which gained 4.31% to close at 41.660.

The worst performers were New Work SE (DE:) which was down 3.55% to 272.00 in late trade, Cancom SE O.N. (DE:) which lost 1.74% to settle at 50.700 and SMA Solar Technology AG (DE:) which was down 1.09% to 19.960 at the close.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange by 555 to 135 and 65 ended unchanged.

Shares in Beiersdorf AG O.N. (DE:) rose to all time highs; gaining 0.45% or 0.500 to 110.500. Shares in Dialog Semiconductor (DE:) rose to 52-week highs; rising 4.69% or 1.900 to 42.430. Shares in Dialog Semiconductor (DE:) rose to 52-week highs; rising 5.23% or 2.1200 to 42.6500.

The , which measures the implied volatility of DAX options, was down 11.50% to 18.85.

Gold Futures for December delivery was down 0.71% or 10.75 to $1512.85 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in October rose 2.17% or 1.19 to hit $56.00 a barrel, while the October Brent oil contract rose 1.69% or 0.99 to trade at $59.63 a barrel.

EUR/USD was up 0.04% to 1.1094, while EUR/GBP rose 0.10% to 0.9137.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.13% at 98.132.
