Investing.com – Finland stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Helsinki, the gained 1.43% to hit a new 3-months high.
The best performers of the session on the were Outokumpu Oyj (HE:), which rose 5.66% or 0.2110 points to trade at 3.9380 at the close. Meanwhile, Outotec Oyj (HE:) added 3.57% or 0.131 points to end at 3.799 and Elisa Oyj (HE:) was up 3.30% or 1.19 points to 37.30 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Wartsila Oyj Abp (HE:), which fell 0.21% or 0.03 points to trade at 14.53 at the close. Metsa Board Oyj B (HE:) declined 0.16% or 0.010 points to end at 6.440 and YIT Oyj (HE:) was up 0.38% or 0.02 points to 5.22.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 90 to 56 and 18 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for April delivery was down 0.59% or 0.37 to $62.14 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in March fell 1.34% or 0.73 to hit $53.83 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.05% or 0.65 to trade at $1318.65 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.23% to 1.1409, while EUR/GBP rose 0.43% to 0.8809.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.24% at 95.803.
