Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the gained 1.05%.
The best performers of the session on the were Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CSE:), which rose 3.30% or 23.0 points to trade at 720.8 at the close. Meanwhile, Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:) added 3.03% or 9.6 points to end at 324.2 and Coloplast A/S (CSE:) was up 1.91% or 13.6 points to 726.2 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were AP Moeller – Maersk A/S B (CSE:), which fell 3.59% or 258 points to trade at 6922 at the close. Ambu A/S (CSE:) declined 3.47% or 3.6 points to end at 100.2 and Pandora A/S (CSE:) was down 3.14% or 7.8 points to 240.5.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 102 to 37 and 13 ended unchanged.
Shares in AP Moeller – Maersk A/S B (CSE:) fell to 5-year lows; losing 3.59% or 258 to 6922. Shares in Ambu A/S (CSE:) fell to 52-week lows; falling 3.47% or 3.6 to 100.2. Shares in Pandora A/S (CSE:) fell to 5-year lows; falling 3.14% or 7.8 to 240.5.
Crude oil for July delivery was down 0.04% or 0.02 to $53.48 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 0.74% or 0.46 to hit $61.53 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 1.14% or 14.95 to trade at $1326.05 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.42% to 6.6582, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4672.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.27% at 97.398.
