Commodity Robot – Worth $4,999 or a Scam? 2/5 (1)

Commodity Robot is a robot created by the Russian programming due Ronald Kravchuk and Antony Kemble that focuses on trading Gold, Silver, Oil, Palladium, Copper, Coffee and Bitcoin. This is not a binary options robot, it is a regular commodities trading bot that utilizes the MT4 trading platform and your existing MT4 broker.

Full disclosure: We get paid a commission fee if you sign up using any of the links on this site.

If you are not familiar with the MT4 platform, you might wonder how big it is and how long it has been around. To put things into perspective, the MetaTrader 4 (MT4) and MetaTrader 5 (MT5) mobile platform reached 1 Million users way back in April 2013 already, and I couldn’t even find figures for their main desktop application. In other words, it is used by a lot of people to trade not just Forex, but also commodities and indices.

Is Commodity Robot Worth $4,999?

The main question we have to deal with is if Commodity Robot is worth the $999 to $4,999 price tag that comes with it. Remember that this price excludes the money you would need to fund your broker account, so right from the outset, I would not recommend this unless spending $999 is not a problem for you. Commodity Robot comes in 4 different flavors: Basic, Deluxe, Premium and Ultimate, as you can see below.

What I immediately dislike about this presentation, is that way they try to pressure you into buying it with fake scarcity counters (e.g. “4 Copies Left Copy reserved for 24 minutes”), and of course all of that is pure hogwash. These type of indicators are red flags to me, and on the other hand, some might say that it is purely good marketing. Personally, I don’t like it at all.

Let’s Get Technical: Commodity Robot Technical Indicators

Ronald Kravchuk and Antony Kemble give us quite a bit of information on how their robot functions, but of course only enough to get you interested, for instance:

The Gold Module of Commodity Robot uses the following standard filters in its calculations: Moving Average, the Ichimoku Cloud Filter (very powerful), the RSI Indicator (Relative Strength Index) and the Convergence/Divergence Indicator (MACD).

They have technical details for all of the commodities, along with videos where they briefly discuss each, but with voice-overs, since it seems they only speak Russian, here’s an example:

Commodity Robot Scam or Not?

We know that the developers behind Commodity Robot, Ronald Kravchuk and Antony Kemble are real, not fake actors, and we also know that they are well known and respected in the Forex world as very capable software developers. However, we are still not comfortable spending $999 at a minimum purely to get a hold of their auto-trading MT4 robot, before we have even funded our brokerage account. True, the robot comes with a generous 60-day trial period, but we feel that for that amount of money, they could possibly have given a shorter trial run of a couple of days for free, after which you are required to purchase the full package.

Compared to some of the other offers and binary options auto-trading robots that we have reviewed, we would not recommend that you spend this amount of money on a system unless you know exactly what you are paying for.
