The worst performers of the session were Peyto Exploration&Development Corp (TSX:), which fell 7.44% or 0.27 points to trade at 3.36 at the close. Canopy Growth Corp (TSX:) declined 5.52% or 1.950 points to end at 33.400 and Kelt Exploration Ltd. (TSX:) was down 4.91% or 0.140 points to 2.710.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Toronto Stock Exchange by 613 to 438 and 119 ended unchanged.
Shares in Canopy Growth Corp (TSX:) fell to 52-week lows; losing 5.52% or 1.950 to 33.400.

CAD/USD was up 0.07% to 0.7520, while CAD/EUR rose 0.07% to 0.6787.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.08% at 98.102.
