The worst performers of the session were Cott Corporation (TO:), which fell 11.52% or 2.37 points to trade at 18.20 at the close. Lucara Diamond Corp (TO:) declined 8.38% or 0.150 points to end at 1.640 and Altus Group Limited (TO:) was down 6.94% or 1.780 points to 23.850.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Toronto Stock Exchange by 664 to 405 and 140 ended unchanged.

Gold Futures for April delivery was up 0.21% or 2.85 to $1330.65 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in April rose 0.23% or 0.13 to hit $57.09 a barrel, while the April Brent oil contract fell 0.19% or 0.13 to trade at $66.94 a barrel.
CAD/USD was up 0.07% to 0.7617, while CAD/EUR rose 0.10% to 0.6715.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.06% at 96.405.
